A source in the government has revealed that the Cabinet has once again rejected the Anti-hopping Bill, in the run up to the highly anticipated Special Parliament sitting this 11 April.
Pakatan Harapan (PH) as recent as yesterday reiterated that the Bill will be tabled, but the source said that the anti-hopping bill has been rejected in today’s Cabinet meeting.
Instead, the bill to limit the Prime Minister’s term in office will be tabled in the House, added the source.
