The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has decreed upon Malaysians in Singapore to return to vote in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE).
Speaking to the Malaysian diaspora at a banquet held in the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore tonight, the King said that voting is a right and responsibility as a Malaysian citizen.
The King and Queen, Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah are on a four-day state visit in Singapore beginning Tuesday, 25 October.
According to a United Nations report in 2019, nearly 1 million Malaysians are residing in Singapore.
